Last weekend saw a new beginning for the salad at Turnips. With the fresh new crop of lettuce and leaf we brought to custom our definitive choices to go for all those market lunch time revellers looking for a bit more than the usual soggy sandwich. Phil, our in house chef, made up wild garlic pesto, rice , pasta and potato salad with accoutrement of micro herbs, salsa, guacamole, and our infamous freshly prepared salad leaf.
